Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to customers within the designated service area.
- Follow pre-determined delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with care, ensuring products are secured and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally and courteously during all interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor delivery issues with a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Valid Class G or equivalent provincial driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong sense of direction and ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
