Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses within the Currie and wider Edinburgh area on weekends.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify delivery contents and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the operations team regarding delivery updates or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally and courteously at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Demonstrable experience with driving in urban and suburban environments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights (up to 25kg).
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and smartphone applications for routes and deliveries.
