Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading merchandise efficiently and safely from delivery vehicles.
- Verify order accuracy against delivery manifests and ensure all items are accounted for.
- Safely transport items to designated retail locations or customer homes, exercising caution and care.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Handle merchandise with extreme care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, ensuring it is ready for the next route.
- Navigate routes effectively using provided tools and maps, assisting drivers with directions when needed.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory organization, order picking, and general upkeep, when not on delivery routes.
Required Skills
