Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes, optimizing for efficiency and timely arrival.
- Prepare, verify, and process all necessary shipping and delivery documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route details, special instructions, and any on-road challenges.
- Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to deliveries, discrepancies, and customer concerns with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring data integrity in logistics systems.
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization as needed to support smooth operations.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including customer service, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor equipment and supply levels, reporting any deficiencies or maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and transportation regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clerical, administrative, or logistics support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
