Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver various goods to customers within the Rivière du Rempart area.
- Plan and follow efficient routes, utilizing navigation tools effectively.
- Verify order accuracy and handle cash/electronic payments accurately.
- Maintain clear and courteous communication with customers and dispatch.
- Ensure cleanliness and good working condition of your assigned delivery vehicle/motorcycle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle concerns promptly.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid driving license (e.g., Class A for motorcycle, or B for light vehicles) with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of Rivière du Rempart and surrounding areas in Mauritius.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS applications effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle various weather conditions.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English and French (Creole is a plus).
- Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Familiarity with local traffic patterns and alternative routes.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems or mobile payment devices.
- Ability to perform minor vehicle checks and maintenance.
