Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Delivery Van Loader to join our dynamic logistics team in Rollington Town, Kingston. As a Delivery Van Loader, you will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring that our products are accurately and efficiently loaded onto delivery vans for timely distribution across Jamaica. This position is vital to our operations, directly impacting our ability to serve our customers and maintain our high standards of service. You will be responsible for preparing and organizing products, safely loading them according to delivery routes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for loading onto delivery vans based on manifest sheets.
- Safely and efficiently load products onto delivery vans, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify product counts and types against loading manifests to prevent discrepancies.
- Organize inventory within the loading bay and warehouse areas, maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Assist with unloading incoming shipments and organizing products in designated warehouse locations as needed.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and loading
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading manifests and counting stock

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading/unloading role
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment
