Job Description
A delivery van loader is a crucial member of our logistics team, ensuring that goods are meticulously prepared and safely loaded onto delivery vehicles for distribution across Ensom City, Spanish Town, and surrounding areas. This full-time, on-site role at Career.zycto demands physical stamina, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding stringent safety standards at all times. You will be primarily responsible for efficiently receiving incoming packages and parcels, accurately verifying their contents against detailed manifests, organizing them systematically within the staging area, and then carefully and strategically loading them onto various delivery vans. The ultimate goal is to optimize cargo space, prevent any potential damage to goods during transit, and ensure that delivery drivers can access packages easily and quickly for their designated routes, thereby contributing to timely and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload delivery vans with various packages and goods, ensuring proper stacking and securing to prevent damage.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices for accuracy.
- Organize packages in the warehouse and on vans according to delivery routes or specific instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks, if required and trained.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the loading dock and warehouse areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and delivery drivers.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
