Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for dental treatments, ensuring their comfort and answering any initial questions.
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials required for various dental procedures.
- Maintain strict sterilization and disinfection protocols for all instruments and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist dentists and hygienists chairside during a wide range of procedures, anticipating their needs and handing instruments.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients, ensuring they understand care requirements.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all medical and personal information.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and managing the clinic's appointment book.
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, assisting colleagues as required.
