Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all front office operations, including patient scheduling, appointments, and record management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Ensure exceptional patient experience from initial contact through treatment completion and follow-up.
- Handle financial aspects including billing, insurance claim processing, accounts receivable, and payment collections.
- Maintain strict compliance with CQC regulations, data protection (GDPR), and all relevant health and safety standards.
- Optimize practice efficiency by implementing streamlined administrative processes and systems.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and dental materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Oversee patient communication, including recalls, treatment plan discussions, and complaint resolution.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement practice growth strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on practice performance, finances, and operational metrics.
- Conduct staff appraisals, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in a Dental Office Manager or similar administrative leadership role within a dental practice.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., SOE Exact, Dentally, R4) and Microsoft Office Suite.
