Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
- Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment, scaling, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems (if applicable).
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security best practices.
- Experience with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of various programming languages like Python, Go, or Java for automation tasks.
