Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and practices to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
- Manage, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure primarily on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on cost-efficiency and performance.
- Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of applications and services across various environments.
- Proactively monitor system performance, availability, and security, and troubleshoot complex production issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to integrate operational best practices into the entire software development lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance and data protection across all systems and deployments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and resolution for critical incidents.
- Evaluate, research, and introduce new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance team efficiency and system reliability.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role.
- Proven proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) for automation.
- Demonstrated ability with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer).
