Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery using modern tools.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, responding to incidents and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Automate operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, implementation, and regular testing.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical infrastructure and applications.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to continuously improve the overall infrastructure and deployment process.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, EKS).
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation and management (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficient in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Deep understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administration in a Linux environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional).
  • Experience with database administration and optimization (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Prior experience working with microservices architectures and serverless technologies.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment.
