Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
- Automate operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system health and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate operations best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
- Champion security best practices and ensure compliance across all infrastructure components.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to improve our infrastructure and development processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
