As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software development teams to bridge the gap between development and operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
  • Automate operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system health and performance (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate operations best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
  • Champion security best practices and ensure compliance across all infrastructure components.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve our infrastructure and development processes.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with microservices architectures and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of database administration and optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
