Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, for application orchestration and scaling.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, reliability, and security of production environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features, optimize application performance, and resolve operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation, system administration, and data processing.
- Establish and enforce best practices for system logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement robust security measures across the infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical incidents and system outages.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and administration.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
