Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various applications using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and maintain containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent outages.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and services into existing infrastructure.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the SDLC.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical systems as needed.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL).
