Job Description

This role is for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Pipeline Specialist to join our fully remote team at Career.zycto, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines for our diverse clientele. As a critical member of our engineering group, you will be instrumental in transforming software development and deployment processes, enabling faster, more reliable, and automated releases.

You will be responsible for bringing expertise in modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation tools to the forefront. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle and a passion for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Automate software build, test, and deployment processes across various environments.
  • Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) relevant to pipelines.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and security practices into pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the pipeline.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  • Document pipeline configurations, processes, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI)
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
