Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Support Engineer to join our globally distributed team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for production systems, including incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues related to infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability and rapid response to critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of issues, implement permanent fixes, and prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational processes, deployments, and system configurations.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure proactive identification of potential problems.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Document system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
  • Support the scalability, security, and resilience of our cloud-native infrastructure across multiple environments.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Production Support role.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
  • Experience with database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Prior experience working in a global, remote-first environment.
