Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate DevSecOps Engineer to join our innovative team in the Phoenix See Area, Dortmund. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security tools and practices.
- Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) within the development workflow to identify vulnerabilities early.
- Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments of applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified security issues and implement secure coding best practices.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization.
- Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions and privileged access management (PAM).
- Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies and practices to continuously improve our security posture.
- Provide mentorship and training to development and operations teams on DevSecOps principles and security awareness.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST).
- Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and web application security.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSK).
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
