Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior diesel mechanics with routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on various diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights.
- Execute oil changes, lubrication, tire rotations, and filter replacements under supervision.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and the workshop area to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Support the diagnostic process by retrieving tools, parts, and following instructions from lead technicians.
- Learn to identify common mechanical issues and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures in the workshop.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used, as instructed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance mechanical skills and knowledge.
