This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, possesses a keen eye for innovative campaigns, and can execute diverse digital strategies from the comfort of their home in Kicukiro, Kigali.
As our Digital Marketer, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the digital presence for our clients across various industries. Your role will involve a blend of strategic planning, content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, display ads).
- Create engaging and high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media posts, and email newsletters, aligning with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) to maximize ROI and achieve performance targets.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights), providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing and effective digital assets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure continuous innovation.
- Manage client communication regarding campaign progress, results, and strategic adjustments.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Develop and execute email marketing strategies, including list segmentation, campaign creation, and performance tracking.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in digital marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
- Expertise in SEO, SEM (Google Ads), social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok), and email marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and experience in creating diverse content types.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other web analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong ability to craft compelling copy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing successful digital marketing campaigns and creative content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other relevant digital marketing platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics) for creating social media visuals.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of the Rwandan and broader East African market landscape.
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda is a plus.
