Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify emerging trends, content gaps, and opportunities for audience growth and retention through rigorous data exploration.
  • Perform competitive analysis to benchmark performance against industry standards and identify best practices in the streaming landscape.
  • Collaborate with content, marketing, product, and sales teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Utilize statistical methods and modeling techniques to forecast performance, identify correlations, and predict future trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by working closely with data engineering teams to validate data sources and pipelines.
  • Present complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and changes in consumer behavior related to digital streaming.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of A/B tests to optimize content, features, and marketing campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Digital Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, specifically within the media, entertainment, or streaming industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
  • Solid understanding of digital streaming metrics (e.g., unique viewers, watch time, completion rates, churn).
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
