Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas for service, including setting tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, and condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring tables, chairs, and floors are spotless throughout service.
- Assist servers by delivering bread, water, and other non-alcoholic beverages to guests promptly.
- Clear tables efficiently after guests depart, ensuring proper disposal of food waste and careful handling of tableware.
- Reset tables quickly and accurately for incoming guests, adhering to established standards.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other communal items as needed during service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow.
- Address minor guest requests and direct more complex inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
- Support dishwashing operations by bringing soiled dishes and glassware to the dish pit.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including polishing silverware and tidying server stations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
