Job Description

J. Wray & Nephew Ltd. is seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Brand Partnerships to join our dynamic team in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland Parish. This pivotal role is crafted for a strategic leader who possesses an innate understanding of brand value, market dynamics, and the power of collaborative ventures. As the Director of Brand Partnerships, you will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic alliances that amplify our brand presence, expand our market reach, and drive significant revenue growth across Jamaica and potentially the wider Caribbean. You will be at the forefront of forging relationships with key stakeholders, including other businesses, cultural institutions, event organizers, and community leaders, to create mutually beneficial opportunities that resonate with our brand ethos and consumer base. This role demands a proactive approach to market exploration, a keen eye for emerging trends, and the ability to negotiate complex agreements with finesse and strategic foresight. You will lead a dedicated team, inspiring them to achieve ambitious targets while upholding our commitment to quality and authenticity. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with a robust commercial acumen, capable of translating strategic visions into tangible, impactful partnerships. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive partnership strategies, from initial concept to execution and post-campaign analysis, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and sales objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand partnership strategy aligned with overall business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic brand partnerships that drive brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing partners, including other businesses, media entities, cultural organizations, and key influencers.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms, clear deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of partnership managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of partnership initiatives, from conceptualization and planning to execution, monitoring, and post-mortem analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product development, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership programs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and consumer insights to identify new partnership opportunities and refine existing strategies.
  • Manage partnership budgets, track performance metrics, and report on the ROI of all partnership activities to senior leadership.
  • Represent J. Wray & Nephew Ltd. at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and explore partnership prospects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience within the beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related industries.
  • Established network of contacts within the Jamaican business and marketing community.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with global brands or within an international corporate structure.
