Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement strategies from our Victoria Falls office. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic goals and organizational values.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative and impactful learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, soft skills enhancement, and onboarding.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future training requirements across all departments and employee levels.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment for all learning initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using various metrics and analytics, continuously refining approaches for optimal outcomes.
- Research and integrate cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies, including e-learning platforms, virtual reality, and gamification, to enhance the learning experience.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Partner with external vendors and consultants to bring specialized expertise and resources for specific training needs.
- Advise senior leadership on best practices in talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development leadership role, preferably as a Director or Head of L&D.
- Demonstrable expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and program evaluation.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective L&D initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other HR technology platforms.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure program impact.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Certifications in L&D, such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment.
