Career.zycto is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement strategies in Nyanga, Manicaland Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s overall business goals and talent objectives.
- Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and soft skills workshops.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and determine appropriate learning interventions for various employee levels and departments.
- Oversee the creation and curation of engaging and effective learning content, utilizing various modalities such as e-learning, in-person training, blended learning, and mentorship programs.
- Establish metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Manage the L&D budget, resources, and external vendor relationships to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends in learning technology, and adult learning principles to continuously innovate our L&D offerings.
- Mentor and develop a small team of L&D professionals, if applicable, to ensure high performance and career growth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development role, preferably in a director or head-of-department capacity.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills in L&D.
- Expertise in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver impactful training programs across various levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies (LMS, e-learning tools).
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and demonstrate ROI.
