Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and talent needs.
- Conduct thorough training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all levels.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative learning programs, workshops, and e-learning modules covering leadership development, technical skills, and professional competencies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D initiatives using appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms, reporting on ROI and impact.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective delivery of programs.
- Partner with HR and senior leadership to integrate L&D with talent management, performance management, and succession planning processes.
- Research and recommend modern learning technologies and methodologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual reality, and gamification.
- Cultivate a strong learning culture within the organization, promoting self-directed learning and continuous professional growth.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external training providers and consultants.
- Ensure all L&D activities comply with relevant industry standards and internal policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive L&D strategies and programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and modern learning technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in measuring L&D effectiveness and ROI.
- Proficiency in project management and budget administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, ATD, CPTM).
- Experience with various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Exposure to L&D within a professional services or consultancy environment.
