Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives in Centenary, Mashonaland Central Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic, long-term Learning & Development strategy that supports Career.zycto's strategic objectives and business growth.
- Design, curate, and deliver impactful training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules covering a wide range of topics from technical skills to leadership development.
- Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Establish robust metrics and evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives, reporting key insights to senior leadership.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective delivery of high-quality learning solutions.
- Research and integrate innovative learning technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance the employee learning experience.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to conduct needs assessments, identify skill gaps, and forecast future talent requirements.
- Oversee the development of career pathways and succession planning programs to foster internal growth and retention.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience in Learning & Development, with a track record of building and scaling L&D programs.
- Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable learning strategies.
- Strong curriculum design, instructional design, and adult learning principles expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and L&D technology platforms (LMS, authoring tools, etc.).
- Demonstrated analytical skills for measuring program effectiveness and ROI.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD certifications).
- Experience in the agricultural, rural development, or NGO sectors.
