Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Learning & Development to lead our strategic initiatives in talent cultivation and organizational effectiveness. This pivotal role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a culture of continuous growth. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, working closely with senior leadership to identify skill gaps, anticipate future talent needs, and deploy innovative solutions to enhance employee performance and engagement across the organization. You will be instrumental in building a robust learning ecosystem that leverages a blend of traditional, digital, and experiential learning methodologies. This includes overseeing the full lifecycle of learning programs, from needs assessment and content creation to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of creating high-impact learning programs that drive measurable business outcomes and foster a highly skilled, adaptable workforce. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s strategic goals.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance programs.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future training requirements across various departments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using key metrics and adjust strategies to ensure maximum impact and ROI.
  • Manage and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to source and integrate best-in-class learning technologies and content.
  • Oversee the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning technologies, adult learning theory, and talent development.
  • Champion a continuous learning culture across the organization through various initiatives and communication channels.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (9+ years) in a senior Learning & Development role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning strategies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies (LMS, e-learning platforms).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong business acumen and ability to align L&D initiatives with business objectives.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in project management and change management principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Coaching, or Project Management.
  • Experience with diverse learning modalities, including virtual reality, augmented reality, or gamification.
  • Familiarity with talent management systems and HR analytics.
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
