Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an inspiring and strategic Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent growth initiatives in Kariba, Mashonaland West Province. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with our organizational objectives and cultivates a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational learning and development strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance modules.
  • Oversee the evaluation of learning programs, ensuring effectiveness, impact, and ROI through data analytics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize program delivery and cost-efficiency.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the L&D team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management and HR Business Partners to identify talent development needs and implement solutions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, promoting internal knowledge sharing and skill acquisition.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and best practices in adult education and talent development.
  • Develop succession planning and career pathing frameworks to support employee growth and retention.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities in Learning & Development.
  • Expertise in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
