Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business objectives and talent management strategy.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative training programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and compliance education.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and determine appropriate learning interventions for various employee levels and departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs through metrics, feedback, and data analysis, ensuring a measurable return on investment.
- Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality learning solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of L&D professionals, if applicable.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in learning and development.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to integrate L&D initiatives with performance management, succession planning, and talent acquisition.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of learning technologies and platforms (LMS, LXP, etc.).
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development role, ideally Director level.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills in L&D.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and blended learning methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate impactful training programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in leveraging learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and demonstrate L&D impact.
- Change management expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, HR, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
- Experience working in the professional services or consulting industry.
- Familiarity with talent development challenges and opportunities in the Southern Africa region.
