Job Description

Are you a seasoned Learning & Development professional with a passion for cultivating talent and driving organizational excellence? Career.zycto is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Learning & Development to lead our efforts in designing, implementing, and evaluating world-class learning programs. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns directly with our business objectives and growth trajectory. You will be responsible for identifying critical skill gaps, envisioning innovative learning solutions, and fostering a learning ecosystem that encourages personal and professional evolution across all levels of the organization. This position demands a leader who is not only adept at instructional design and delivery but also possesses strong leadership capabilities, business acumen, and a knack for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, department heads, and HR business partners to ensure our talent development initiatives are impactful, measurable, and directly contribute to our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic objectives and talent needs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver innovative learning programs, workshops, and initiatives across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, in-person).
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future capability requirements across all departments and levels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and a strong return on investment for all programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs through robust metrics and analytics, reporting on impact to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to integrate L&D initiatives into overall talent management and succession planning efforts.
  • Research and recommend new learning technologies, platforms, and external vendor solutions to enhance program delivery and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all learning content and programs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership/director role.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business goals into effective L&D initiatives.
  • Expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and various training methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of L&D professionals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools, virtual platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPTD, ACC, SHRM-SCP/CP).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving industry or a multi-sector organization.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in corporate learning and talent development.
