Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly strategic and innovative Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent growth initiatives. This pivotal role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning programs that align with our organizational objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. As the Director, you will be responsible for defining the long-term vision for L&D, translating business needs into effective learning strategies, and ensuring our employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel and adapt in a rapidly evolving professional landscape.

We are looking for a leader who can inspire and guide, someone with a deep understanding of adult learning principles, modern pedagogical approaches, and the latest L&D technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR partners, and department heads to identify skill gaps, develop robust training solutions, and measure the impact of our learning interventions. This role requires not just an expert in L&D but a strategic partner capable of influencing organizational culture and driving performance through exceptional talent development. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s business goals and talent objectives.
  • Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, compliance training, and professional soft skills enhancement.
  • Identify current and future skill gaps across the organization through needs assessments, performance data analysis, and strategic forecasting.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives using relevant metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality program delivery.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth, promoting self-directed learning and knowledge sharing across all levels of the organization.
  • Research and integrate innovative learning technologies, methodologies, and best practices into our L&D framework.
  • Coach and mentor internal trainers and subject matter experts to enhance their instructional design and delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with HR and other department leaders to integrate L&D programs with broader talent management strategies, including performance management and career pathing.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with a track record of implementing impactful L&D programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess training needs, develop curriculum, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Financial acumen related to budget management for L&D initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in L&D (e.g., CPTD, APTD) or related areas.
  • Experience with blended learning approaches and e-learning content creation tools.
  • Familiarity with talent management software and HR analytics.
  • Experience working in a diverse and multicultural professional setting.
  • Background in organizational change management.
