Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement strategies from our Chegutu office. This pivotal role will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and high performance across our organization. As the Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning programs that align with our strategic objectives and foster employee engagement and retention. You will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to identify skill gaps, develop targeted training interventions, and champion innovative learning methodologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with Career.zycto's overall business goals and talent objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and soft skills workshops.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify current and future skill gaps, recommending appropriate learning solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using key metrics and data analytics, continuously refining approaches for optimal impact.
  • Research and implement innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and department heads to ensure learning initiatives support departmental and individual performance goals.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships efficiently.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and talent development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing strategic L&D programs.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
