Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement strategies in Mutoko, Mashonaland East Province. This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with our strategic business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, developing innovative training solutions, and nurturing a high-performance environment across all levels of our organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and HR business partners to ensure our learning initiatives drive employee engagement, productivity, and career progression. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy that supports Career.zycto's overall business goals and talent development objectives.
- Design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance modules.
- Lead and mentor a small team of L&D professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality program delivery.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to conduct needs assessments, identify critical skill gaps, and define learning priorities.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and demonstrable return on investment (ROI) for all initiatives.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of learning technologies (e.g., LMS, e-learning platforms).
- Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness and impact of L&D programs on employee performance and business outcomes.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in learning and development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic learning and development initiatives.
