Career.zycto is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Learning & Development to lead our strategic efforts in talent growth and organizational capability building. Based in Mutare, this pivotal role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning programs that align with our ambitious business objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic goals and client needs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and professional growth initiatives.
- Oversee the entire learning lifecycle, from needs analysis and content creation to program delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of learning professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Identify and evaluate new learning technologies, platforms, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and reach of training programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure learning initiatives are integrated and impactful.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all L&D programs, reporting on progress and making data-driven adjustments.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective delivery of high-quality programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in learning and development to ensure programs remain cutting-edge and compliant.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership in designing and implementing large-scale L&D strategies and programs.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and various training methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
