As the Director of R&D at Career.zycto, you will be the visionary leader responsible for steering our innovation pipeline and shaping the future of our HR technology products. You will play a critical role in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for all R&D projects. Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall R&D strategy, aligning with company vision and market needs.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, from ideation and research to prototyping, testing, and successful handover to product development.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, methodologies, and market trends relevant to HR technology and AI.
- Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines to ensure efficient and effective delivery of initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure R&D efforts translate into viable products.
- Establish and maintain intellectual property strategies, including patent applications and trade secret protection.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry conferences, engaging with the wider scientific and tech community.
- Ensure R&D activities comply with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
- Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to commercialization, preferably in software or HR technology.
- Expertise in AI/Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Big Data analytics, and cloud computing platforms.
- Strong strategic planning, project management, and budget management skills.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and mentorship abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Human Resources or Talent Acquisition technology sector.
- Publications or patents in relevant fields.
