As the Director of R&D, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and overseeing our entire research and development portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and market demands. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall R&D strategy in alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of scientists, researchers, and engineers.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to testing and commercialization.
- Manage the R&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial stewardship.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, methodologies, and scientific breakthroughs.
- Establish and maintain intellectual property strategies, including patent applications and trade secret protection.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with product management, marketing, operations, and sales teams.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, collaborate with academic institutions, and engage with external partners.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Required Skills
- Ph.D. in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering).
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 7 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in leading multiple R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
