Key Responsibilities
- Developing, articulating, and implementing a comprehensive R&D strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market demands, specifically tailored to capitalize on regional opportunities and challenges.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing R&D team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven environment.
- Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, including conceptualization, design, prototyping, testing, and commercialization, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Managing the R&D budget, resources, and project portfolio effectively, optimizing allocation to maximize return on investment and achieve key milestones.
- Establishing robust intellectual property strategies, identifying opportunities for patents and trade secrets to protect novel technologies and innovations.
- Collaborating extensively with cross-functional departments such as production, marketing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial role.
