Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic R&D roadmap, aligning with overall business objectives and market demands.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of scientists, researchers, and technical staff.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept generation, feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, to commercialization.
- Manage R&D budget and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment.
- Foster a culture of continuous innovation, scientific rigor, and intellectual property development.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, research methodologies, and potential partnerships.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

- Present R&D progress, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills
- Ph.D. in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Agronomy, Food Science)
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing new products or technologies from conception to market.
- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets and resources effectively.
