Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Research & Development to lead our innovation initiatives from our Chipinge office. This is a critical leadership role responsible for setting the strategic direction of our R&D efforts, overseeing all research projects, and ensuring the successful development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions that drive our business forward. Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall R&D strategy in alignment with Career.zycto’s business objectives and long-term vision.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of researchers, engineers, and scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee the entire R&D lifecycle, including ideation, feasibility studies, prototyping, development, and commercialization of new products and technologies.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Establish and maintain strong intellectual property strategies, including patenting and protecting proprietary technologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of R&D outcomes into broader business strategies.
- Represent Career.zycto externally at conferences, industry events, and with potential partners to promote our innovation capabilities.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
