Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall R&D strategy, aligning it with company objectives and market demands.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from ideation, concept generation, feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, to final commercialization.
- Manage the R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Identify emerging technologies, scientific advancements, and market trends to inform future research directions and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Establish and maintain intellectual property strategies, including patent applications and trade secret protection.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs into business processes and market launches.
- Ensure all research and development activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
