Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Director of Research & Development to lead our innovation efforts from our base in Epworth, Harare Province. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept generation to prototyping, testing, and launch.
- Manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

- Establish and maintain strong intellectual property portfolios through patents, trade secrets, and strategic partnerships.

Required Skills
- PhD or Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative products or technologies to market.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and stage-gate development processes.
