Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and eligibility screenings for individuals seeking disability support services.
- Provide accurate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive information about Career.zycto's programs, services, and external support options.
- Manage a high volume of inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, documenting all interactions thoroughly and efficiently.
- Guide applicants through the application process, assisting with form completion and gathering necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within the client management system (CRM).
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., case managers, support coordinators) and external agencies to facilitate seamless client transitions.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in disability services, particularly the NDIS framework.
- Identify and escalate complex cases or urgent client needs to appropriate senior staff.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally and empathetically in all client and stakeholder interactions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an intake, client services, or administrative role within the disability, aged care, or community services sector.
- Strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its operational guidelines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in using client management systems (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
