Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial dishwashers, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Manually wash and sanitize pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils that are not suitable for the dishwashing machine.
- Sort and stack clean dishes, glassware, and silverware appropriately.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies and detergents, reporting needs to management.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks in the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces, and waste disposal areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Support kitchen staff with general duties as required, such as fetching ingredients or clearing work stations.
- Properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
- Inspect dishes and utensils for cleanliness and damage before storage or reuse.
