Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils by hand or machine.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stacked, stored, and readily available for use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and equipment.
- Regularly empty trash bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or restocking supplies.
- Monitor dishwashing detergent and sanitizing solution levels, refilling as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
