Key Responsibilities
- Perform live DJ sets at various events, including corporate functions, private parties, club nights, and public gatherings across Redcliffe and wider Bristol.
- Curate dynamic playlists tailored to the event’s theme, audience demographics, and client preferences.
- Operate and troubleshoot professional DJ equipment, sound systems, and lighting rigs with proficiency.
- Engage with the audience and event organisers to ensure a positive and energetic atmosphere.
- Maintain a vast and up-to-date music library across multiple genres, including chart hits, classics, and niche selections.
- Conduct sound checks and technical setups prior to each event to ensure optimal audio quality.
- Collaborate effectively with event managers, venue staff, and other entertainment personnel.
- Manage event timelines and ensure punctual setup, performance, and breakdown.
- Regularly update musical knowledge and explore new trends and artists within the industry.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional DJ with a strong portfolio of live performances.
- Exceptional mixing and scratching abilities, demonstrating seamless transitions and creative flair.
- Extensive knowledge of diverse music genres (e.g., Pop, R&B, House, Disco, Indie, Electronic, Hip Hop).
- Ability to read and energize a crowd, adapting sets in real-time to maintain engagement.
- Proficiency in operating industry-standard DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, Rekordbox, Traktor) and hardware (e.g., Pioneer CDJs, Technics turntables).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour.
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management capabilities.

- Experience with basic lighting control and visual effects.
- Ability to provide own high-quality DJ equipment and sound system.
- Knowledge of audio engineering principles and sound reinforcement.
