Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Doctor to join our dynamic team in Pollok, Glasgow, embracing both General Practitioner and Specialist roles. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive general practice consultations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
- Provide specialist medical expertise and consultations within your area of specialisation.
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
- Manage chronic disease clinics, including monitoring, education, and medication reviews.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and other primary care interventions as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping using electronic patient management systems.
- Contribute to preventative health initiatives, including immunisation programmes and health screenings.
- Participate in regular team meetings, clinical governance activities, and continuous professional development.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional guidelines.
- Offer advice and support to patients and their families regarding health management and lifestyle choices.
Required Skills
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice and a recognised medical specialty.
- Demonstrable experience in both general practice and specialist clinical settings.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in electronic patient record systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
