Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and passionate Donations Officer to join our dynamic team in Berlin. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual financial goals.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Prepare tailored fundraising proposals, grant applications, and compelling presentations.
- Manage and maintain accurate donor records using CRM software, ensuring timely communication and recognition.
- Plan and support fundraising events and campaigns, from conception to execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, programs) to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance, analyzing data to inform future strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethical fundraising practices and donor privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related sales/development role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in both German (C1+) and English (C1+).
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and cultivate long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of successfully securing donations or achieving revenue targets.
- Understanding of the non-profit sector and ethical fundraising principles.
