Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and organizing items safely and efficiently onto and off the vehicle.
- Verify accuracy of items against delivery manifests before departure and upon arrival.
- Help navigate and plan efficient routes by providing support to the driver using maps or GPS.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic organization of the vehicle interior and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with customers, representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Ensure all goods are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations, supporting the driver in maintaining a safe environment.
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or damages to the driver and supervisory staff promptly.
- Support the driver with routine vehicle checks and minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily delivery targets.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – eagerness to learn is paramount.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg/55 lbs) regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
