Key Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery van safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout Moka and surrounding areas, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Execute timely and accurate deliveries of goods to customers, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery contents against shipping manifests, obtain necessary signatures, and process any returns or exchanges accurately.
- Maintain open and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal working condition.
- Load and unload the delivery van, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of packages.
- Manage delivery documentation, including logs, invoices, and manifests, with precision and attention to detail.
- Represent Career.zycto with professionalism and courtesy at all times, upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements, including potential variations in daily routes and delivery volumes.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle.
- Assist with warehouse tasks or route planning as needed during non-driving hours.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 3 (or equivalent) driving license
- Clean driving record
- Proven ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and maps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages up to 25 kg
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience
- Familiarity with the Moka District and surrounding areas
- Experience with handheld delivery devices or logistics software
